Superfood Protein Green Smoothie Bowl

IMG_6862This smoothie is a great option for a pre or post-workout snack, or a filling breakfast to keep you going for most of the day. Besides that, it tastes great. (And it’s really pretty and filled with green leaves!)

Protein Superfood Smoothie


  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • 5 leaves dinosaur kale (stems removed)
  • 1 tbsp organic peanut butter (you can use almond butter as well)
  • ½ tbsp maca powder
  • 3 pitted dates


  • Blend (I used my Vitamix)
  • Decorate (or not)
  • Serve and Enjoy!!

Toppings for the Bowl:

  • Organic bee pollen
  • Shelled hemp seeds
  • Raw buckwheat groats
  • Leftover mini chia seed doughnuts (recipe to come)
