Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

As I became more and more interested in holistic wellness and nutrition, I came across a number of universally familiar basic staples that one should incorporate into their diet and daily regimen. Such as: superfoods (chia seeds, hemp seeds, raw chocolate, goji berries, almonds, etc…), green drinks and smoothies, and the like. One smoothie that I kept coming across has been aptly named the “green goddess smoothie.” There are a number of “green goddess smoothie” or “green goddess juice” recipes and some of them are similar and some of them have completely dissimilar ingredients. The one thing all these “green goddess” drinks have in common is their color. They are green. So here is mine…my “green goddess smoothie” made into a bowl.

Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ ripe avodado
  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 large handful spinach
  • ½ cup coconut water

Instructions:

  • Blend (I used my vitamix blender), decorate (this one was with tangerine slices, raw cocoa nibs and edible dried flowers), and enjoy!!
