Vanilla doughnuts with chocolate glaze

🍩 I served them with a go-to chocolate glaze made from coconut sugar, almond butter, plant milk and tapioca starch and sprinkled some dried orange flowers on top. For the actual doughnuts, the recipe is quite simple. (I halved the amounts because WHO AM I GONNA SHARE THEM WITH IN QUARENTINE ? 😂)

For 5/6 donuts you will need: 1 cup gluten free flour mix (I make my own but store bought is fine) 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt Seeds scraped from 1 vanilla bean 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tsp Apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup maple syrup 4 tbsp melted #coconutoil Instructions: Lightly grease a doughnut pan and preheat oven to 180C (350F) Add the vinegar to the #almondmilk , mix and let sit for a couple of minutes. Then add the maple syrup, vanilla and oil. Mix or whisk until well blended. Stir together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the batter is dry and the doughnuts have risen. Let cool for 10 minutes. Glaze serve and enjoy! And if you’ve ever wanted to try out a recipe, I would say now Is the time- since all we really have is time. Get baking. Make things that make you feel good, food that will put a smile on your face and hopefully integrate a few things that will keep you healthy. Need anything from me? I’m here for you. We got this. ❤️
